Abstract:

The authors report on three Bogidiellid-species (Crustacea Amphipoda, Gammaridae) lately collected in the subterranean Greek freshwaters. They are: Bogidiella cerberus n. sp., B. longiflagellum S. Karaman and B. skopljensis (S. Karaman).
Bogidiella cerberus n. sp. is the first European and Mediterranean Bogidiellid living in caves; it was collected in the brackish waters of Alepotrypa’s cave, in the small terminal lake (Peloponnesian peninsula of Manni). B. longiflagellum (incompletely described by S. Karaman on few and impaired samples from South Yugoslavia) is carefully redescribed on a large material collected in many Greek countries. B. skopljensis (S. Kararamn ) at least (typ. loc.: Macedonia) is for the first time pointed out for the Greece (artesianwells, Euboea island).
