Abstract:

Three new species of Crustacea Amphipoda are described. These species were found in the litoral interstitial habitat of the South Africa (Table Bay, Cape Town), and two new genera have been instituted for two of them: Ingolfiella berrisfordi n. sp., Bollegidia capensis n. gen. n. sp., Paramoerella interstitialis n. gen. n. sp. Ingolfiella berrisfordi is the first african species of this genus. Bollegidia capensis, a Gammarid of the “Bogidiella” group, is very similar to the Bollegidia sootai (Coineau and Chandrasekhara Rao) recently described from the Andamane Isles. Paramoerella interstitial is, at last, is the first interstitial Eusirid which have been reported.
