Abstract:

Bogidiella ichnusae, a new species from Sardinia, collected in the interstitial waters of the Liscia river (Sassari), is described and its systematic relationships are discussed. The new species, similar for some characters (namely, for the shape of the telson and of the pleopods) to B. albertimagni and B. glacialis. It is easily distinguishable from these for the shape of the gnathopods, of the Hertzog's organs, of the coxal plates and of the uropods; for all these characters, it seems to be similar to B. chappuisi, from which it is distinguishable for the shape of the telson.
Brief notes are given over the finding in another stream in Sardinia (Rio Isalle, Nuoro) of a few specimens belonging to another Bogidiella species, more similar to B. chappuisi, but well distinguishable either from the new B. ichnusae or from B. vandeli, the only one species hitherto known from Sardinia (Rio di Quirra).
