| Abstract: | A new species of Bogidiella (Amphipoda, Bogidiellidae), belonging to a new subgenus, is described as B. (Xystriogidiella) capricornea. It was found in coral sand at low tide in Heron Island, Capricorn group, Great Barrier Reef, and it represents the first member of the family Bogidiellidae to be found in the Pacific. |
